Writing
Andrea is a screenwriter with a growing slate of work that speaks for itself.
The headline news for 2026 is that Andrea has partnered with Ian Puleston-Davies and his production company, Minera, to develop a new character-led drama series she penned throughout 2025
The project originally began life as a short film written by Andrea. Recognising its potential for television, Ian suggested expanding the concept into a full-length series, with Ian officially stepping in as producer and attached director under the Minera banner.
Her work has earned consistent recognition from industry veterans. Over the years, the acting school ACT4TV, run by Michael Jackson and Beverly Keogh until its closure in 2025, handpicked twenty of Andrea’s short film screenplays to be developed for their film festivals.
Michael even shared with Andrea that when reading her work for casting, it was the first time he’d ever seen Beverly cry while reading a screenplay. Andrea quipped back, “Was it that bad?”
In 2024, Andrea completed a four-part crime drama screenplay. She is also the author of the children’s book, Santa’s Stolen Sleigh.

Not to blow her own trumpet, but Andrea has a triple PhD in daydreaming.
Ever since she was a kid, her favourite toys were a typewriter and a tape recorder. She’d spend evenings “broadcasting” the news, a drama, and a comedy from the kitchen (for the acoustics, naturally). She hopes those early recordings never see the light of day, but that big imagination is finally paying off, as she now starts to makes a living from the stories in her head.
Whether it’s an adventure for a children’s book (she’s still young at heart), a true-life tale on stage in her stand-up — like the time she accidentally texted someone 22 times to insist she wasn’t a stalker (a routine that won her a comedy award) — a gripping crime drama, a ghost story, or a heartfelt comedy-drama, if she can think it, she’ll write it. She likes to make people laugh and cry at the same time, she’s weird like that (sadist).
